HR / Compensation and Benefits Specialist

In this role you will conduct research and network to establish new opportunities, and have the freedom to ideate and develop fresh initiatives to reward our talents, because they deserve it!

What you'll do:

  • Challenge the benefits status quo and develop new structures to our schemes and processes, ones that match trivago’s innovative culture and values.
  • Communicate the message about our reward scheme, and the philosophy behind it, to the entire company.
  • Analyze trivago’s compensation and benefit packages and establish opportunities for improvement.
  • Work closely with our internal communications team to implement world-class internal marketing campaigns to communicate the benefits to talents.
  • Research how other companies approach benefit packages, and create a network of affiliates to ensure that our scheme is competitive.
  • Manage the compensation and benefits systems and tools, conducting QA and investigating opportunities for automation.

What you'll definitely need:

  • BA/BS degree in economics, psychology, statistics or another field that uses quantitative analysis, or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • Previous project management experience.
  • Excellent communication skills that allow you to work cross-functionally, conveying your ideas with clarity and confidence to a varied groups of stakeholders.
  • You’ll have to know your way around a pivot table and be able to draw insights from data.
  • The ability to work end to end on a project; to start an idea from scratch and follow it through to execution.
  • An analytical mindset that allows you to breakdown, understand and construct logical processes.
  • An eye for detail that means you can spot the errors that others might miss.
  • To speak fluent English (our company language).
